Winter Music Conference 2010: Are you ready?
"One of the most anticipated clubbing events in the country." - New York Times
Dates: March 23, 2010 to March 27, 2010
Host Hotel: Eden Roc Beach Resort and Spa.
Every March, in sunny Miami Beach, Florida, electronic music is showcased in all of its glory at the Winter Music Conference ("WMC"). This week-long event attracts DJs, promoters, producers, record labels and electronic music fans from around the world. The WMC could very well be the longest running electronic music festival. It was founded in 1985 by Bill Kelly and Louis Possenti, so this year it celebrates its 25th anniversary.
It's still a little bit early, but some events have already been locked down. Here are a few that are worth a gander:
Wednesday, March 24 at Shine, 10 p.m.
15 Years of Ovum with Josh Wink and Friends. Tickets are currently $15 (plus a $1.90 fee), and will remain at that price until 7 p.m. March 24.
Thursday, March 25 at the Shelborne pool, 12 to 10:30 p.m.
Cadenza v. Desolat Pool Party with Luciano, Loco Dice, Reboot, and Martin Buttrich. Tickets cost $20 (plus a $2.50 fee), and will remain at that price until 8 a.m. March 25.

The winner will get a contract with a pro DJ agency and record label; two Pioneer CDJ-2000 CD turntables and a Tonium Pacemaker; a feature in DJ magazine; a mix compilation album release on Beatport; and a showcase at the 2010 Winter Music Conference in Miami.
